"Interface of the Ongoing" is to become a specifically constructed space which can be even considered as a technological "total installation" with ::vtol::'s objects as its elements, filled with his "non-functional" machines with their own hacked logic. Through these objects ::vtol:: tells us stories and describes the surrounding reality and events happening, comprehending the natural and social processes through the usage of technology. His mechanical and sound objects, wearable devices and light installations are alternative interfaces to interact with the ongoing.
The exhibition will feature around 20 artworks, both new and already existing ones. The parallel program will consist of lectures, workshops and live performances. One of the program's highlights is a special presentation of one of Russian tech-art's legacy works, Bulat Galeyev's "Electronic Artist" restored by NII Prometheus as a part of TECHNE platform restoration program.
